YouthCARE 2009 Summer Kickoff
Camp Sunrise	Young Women's Mentoring Program	YouthLEAD
Camp Sunrise is in full swing with Week 1 (Boys) starting on June 13, 2009. Camp will be in session for 10 weeks, ending on August 23, 2009. With ten alumni staff returning this year, Camp is sure to have a great summer! Campers from Minneapolis and St. Paul, 13-18 years old, will enjoy various activities including, canoeing, teambuilding, service projects (and a lot more) all within a multicultural environment!	The Young Women's Mentoring Program is beginning a new Summer Program! They will be conducting a Summer Day Camp several days out of the week at each three sites; Glendale Townhomes, Little Earth of the United Tribe and the McDonough Community Homes. The Summer Day Camp will focus on developing leadership, employment and self-sufficiency skills of girls between the ages of 7-13 years old.	The Community Service Stars (CS Stars) Summer Youth Employment Program is starting on June 22, 2009. A partnership with the City of Minneapolis, the CS Stars will employ 14 Minneapolis youth, 14-18 years old, for 8 weeks. The program has a green industry/eco-friendly living theme this summer.
